Friends, support groups, and counselors are all an important part of God’s design for healing. But there are certain places in our souls that only God can reach. In grief, we need to be reminded that God alone can touch the deepest layers of our pain and bring healing where no one else can.
Grief often magnifies fear and despair, clouding our ability to see truth and robbing us of peace, hope, and healing. That’s why it's so important to talk with God and stay connected to his Word. Scripture reminds us of who God is—his love, his faithfulness, and his power.
The book of Psalms is filled with the comforting truth that God is our refuge and strength. Even when everything around us is falling apart, God remains our place of safety. And when we cry out to him in our pain, he hears and rescues us.
God wants you to fully lean on him. He is not distant from your grief. He knows it intimately. And his comfort, strength, and healing are real.
